Wedding ideas: The many uses for glass jars

Most of us throw these jars away without thinking about the many ways they could be used. With the vintage, rustic look trending at the moment, here is a look at some of the practical but pretty ways to use them at your wedding.

The most popular way of using glass jars is for flowers. Hanging from trees, lining the aisles or as a centrepiece on the tables. All of these ideas have their own charm and simplicity. You could easily make your own flower arrangements and show off the artist in you. Even though glass jars are easy on the pocket, there is nothing cheap looking about them.

Then we have candles in glass jars. Don't you find that sometimes you need a bit of extra lighting but the cost of this is just too much? Here is the perfect solution. Candles and jars can be collected over a long period and this is cost effective allowing you to buy as and when you can.

Glass jars are wildly popular right now as containers for food and drink. You can have cupcakes, desserts, ice-cream, drinks and even pies in jars. These are my favourite ways to use glass jars. Can you think of more?
